How are quartz countertops made?
In a factory, large amounts of quartz crystals are crushed into fine dust. This dust is then mix with resin and pigment to make the colors we choose. After being mixed well, the sheet is then put into a high pressure oven. After the slab has hardened, it is put in a cooling area to be ready for a CNC machine to cut for installation.
Engineered by man, quartz counters are made to be the best. Scratch and heat resistant like granite, non-porous like solid surface, and still made by natural stone. With a constant pattern, seams are almost invisible. We carry over six different brands of quartz to meet each individual style and taste. We would love to give you a tour of what we offer.
